I am a content and social media strategist focused on brand development and engagement. As a Master's in Advertising graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications I have cultivated a passion for communicating brand messaging through digital and social media strategies. I specialize in growing online platforms for small businesses and nonprofits.
Ultimately, I seek to use these skills to help non-profits focused on inclusion, diversity, and the advancement of women of color and education of young girls. I want to help these brands build awareness, find their voice, and navigate social media successfully.
In the past I have developed integrated and digital marketing campaigns for large brands like Dunkin' Donuts, Dell, and Lighter Blue. In addition to these large brands I am also passionate about working with nonprofits to help them grow and develop their brand voice through social media strategy and branding. I'm currently a manager of social media strategy and content for the Association for Women in Events and B-STEM. Both, nonprofits pushing for inclusion and diversity of women and young girls in STEM.
The digital space and social media are constantly changing and it can be difficult for small start-ups and nonprofits, with limited resources to navigate ever changing algorithms. With a strong attention to detail, and a curiosity to always figure out the best, and most innovative ways use to platforms for marketing and branding purposes, I create solutions to for reaching digital branding and social media goals.
